Summary: "OM" errors and keyboard garbage

Does anyone have any idea what causes a totally fried CoCo2? All I did was
leave it in horrendous climatic conditions for about a year in a garage
:-) and then tried to fire it up. I always thought these things were
indestructible.

1. Press reset.
2. watch basic come up.
3. type on keyboard.
4. watch some correct characters, some garbled appear.
5. hit <CR>
6. responds with either: "OM Error" (usually) or "SN Error" (occasionally)

This sounds to me like zapped RAMs. Any ideas? (I think they should outlaw
soldered ICs.)
