Oh no, not another hard disk question!!

The only Mac supplier in this city is selling the General Computer FX 20 
(the lunch-box) for $1300 (Canadian).  I have two questions.
1.) Is this a fair price for a new 20 Meg HD?
2.) Is this a good drive? 

Any relevant information or anecdotes would be appreciated.
