Thanks to Brian Powell for a better way to convert ICN#s to ICONs:

Using ResEdit, select the ICN# you want and Open General, i.e.,
hold down Option and double click on the little picture.  This gets
the hex representation.  Select the first 16 lines (128 bytes) and
copy them.  Ignore the rest; that's the mask.

Select the ICON window and create a New icon.  Again Open General.
Paste the stuff from the ICN# over the sixteen lines of zeroes that
were there initially.  Set the name (Info window) to whatever.  Done.
