What I'd really like to know is how long (feet) can the ADB cable be,
and if there are any special requirements for the composition of the
cable.

A composer/musician friend needs his MacII onstage for his opera, but
cannot have any fans whooshing (this is Art, here, folks!).

So I want to know the max distance between keyboard-mouse and cpu.
Also what grade cable needs to be used.
