Especially if every application has its own copy of them. Many include a
subset for the most likely error messages. It would be nice if Apple put
error messages in an STR# in the System File, which would be localized
to the correct language. Then developers wouldn't have to duplicate
them again and again. (Of course, this is not a novel idea... )
