Message-ID: <691@rocky.STANFORD.EDU> Date: Thu, 22-Oct-87 17:27:38 EST Article-I.D.: rocky.691 Posted: Thu Oct 22 17:27:38 1987 Date-Received: Sun, 25-Oct-87 09:52:23 EST Organization: Stanford University Computer Science Department Lines: 9 Keywords: RAM disk The header pretty much says it all. I'm sick of RamStart. One small bug in a program and boom, the ram disk is gone. Does anyone sell a RAM disk which can survive a system error? When I say survive, I mean that it should do some sort of check to make sure that its data wasn't corrupted (ie a checksum). Any leads? Ed Rothberg rothberg@rocky.stanford.edu
