Apple ups the price that much for Canada??? Our student price for a MacSE with 20meg is $2199 without keyboard. As for the quality of IBM compatables, put it this way... I can go out and build one in my dorm room one weekend for $500 or so... It's very easy to do...there's not a whole lot of substance to one.
