MacMemory makes something called MaxSave (costs about $70) that plugs in where the roms are (and then you plug the roms into it). I think all it does is prevent the roms from clearing (testing?) that part of memory used for a ram disk -- so the ram disk appears on the desktop when you reboot. - Steve
