According to the documentation (Inside Macintosh), one should
respond to an UpdateEvt by
1.Calling BeginUpdate;
2.Redrawing the updateRegion (or the contentRegion) of the
window(s) ;
3.calling EndUpdate.

But how does one actually redraw the content region of a
window? I tried to save the .contentRgn field of the window and
restore it later (in step 2 above), and the system died on me...

Please reply by E-mail, and I'll post a summary of the replies
to the net later.
