We also have a few Macintosh Plus systems. We would like to connect the Macintoshes to the Apollo ring in order to be able to use the printers in the ring to print files from the Macs. We don't want to connect printers directly to the Macs because they can't be shared that way. We have had a look into MacApollo (V1.4) but that is not a solution to our problem because it only emulates yet another screen on the Apollo. Typical applications we have are: MacDraw, MacWrite and TeXtures. We want these to produce postscript output on the Mac and next we want these postscript output files to be transferred transparently to the postscript printers in the Domain ring. How do you get these applications to produce a postscript file? How do you get the output automatically transferred to the Apollo printer? Is there any public domain or commercial software to solve our problem? Please reply to me and I'll summarize to the net.
