I just suddenly got concerned over someone else's posting of troubles with a 512ke SCSI hack. I would like to buy a hard drive but being a 512ke owner I would first either have to upgrade to a Plus or buy a SCSI adaptor from Dove or some other memory company. An adaptor is attractive since an upgrade would cost me $500 whereas an adaptor would only be $100. My question...has anyone used one of these adaptors? Were they succesful? Was the drive reasonably fast? What kind of modifications to the mac did it involve? Thanks in advance! _________________________________________________________ -- Chris North Dartmouth College or 320 Mammoth Road Hanover NH 03755 Manchester, NH 03103 CSNET: bono@dartmouth.edu
