The first method of trapping to _ExitToShell is NOT ROM dependent and should work on all Macintosh computers. The second method above is not only ROM dependent, but should Apple patch the _ExitToShell trap (say in MultiFinder or some future OS enhancement), it will not work properly. I found this out the hard way on a Mac II. Use the first incarnation! David Gelphman
