Just for the heck of it, my son and I manually converted some Hypercard sounds to system beeps. For the record, the data format is identical to that used in the (synth=5) waveform data record, which is described in some tech note or other, but the header is different (in a minor way), and the sample rate is different, so we had to change the 'note' value to get the same sound.
