    Greg,
      While you have expressed interest in obtaining a stand-alone transputer
system you should be aware of the fact that there is one company making transputer
boards for the Macintosh plus and potentially for the Mac ][. The product range is 
quite good from inexpensive Occam compilers to boards based on the T800. I have included
their address and telephone number. I hope this is of some use.
