We are attempting to install a Talon Technologies syncronous communications board which emulates a DEC DMR11. We are attempting to use the DMC11 driver included with Unix written by Bill Nesheim and Lou Salkind. Does anyone have any experience with this combination? In the Vax, initialization causes the board to fail, however we can put the board in a PDP11 and go through the initialization sequence and the board appears to functon just fine. Does anyone know about any differences between the Unibus of a PDP11 and the Unibus of a Vax that might relate to this problem? We have been using console mode commands and adb to figure this problem out, can anyone offer any on the use of adb in debugging device drivers? We need to be able to look at mundane things like Unibus mapping registers and to set brake points . Thank You Michael Love Please respond to love@NADC.ARPA
