Hartford, CT Lines: 19 Keywords: VAX750 RP07 My sad day is soon approaching -- I must give up my VAX 780 for a VAX 750 on pwa-b. We are running 4.2BSD, soon to be 4.3. My question: I have an RM05 system disk and my second disk is an RP07. I have heard rumors that the RP07 is not compatible with a 750 since the transfer rates are too high for the 750 to handle. I am sure that this is more of a hardware issue than a Unix question, but .... Oh yes, the RP07 is set up in interleaved mode (the slower mode). Any comments would be appreciated. I would be especially interested in hearing from anyone using (or had tried) the 750/RP07 combination. Many thanks for your help. -- -->BoB Miorelli, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft also, H & R Block tax preparer and Instructor pwa-b!miorelli
