If you're referring to Brian Kernighan's "pic" preprocessor for "troff", it is licensed by AT&T as part of the Documenter's WorkBench software package. A "cip" program for interactively creating "pic" input on a DMD is available in AT&T's DMD Text and Graphics package. A "grap" program for making graphs with the aid of "pic" is provided in Release 2.0 and later of the Documenter's WorkBench.
