Now that we have an X.11 server running we are evaluating whether to reimplement under the XToolkit. In a May 16, 1987 posting to comp.windows.x Frank Hall of HP Corvallis alluded to an X.11 based XRAY2 toolkit that would be offered in the public domain. He also mentioned the possiblity of licensing options. If an X.V11 version of XRAY were available we would be much inclined to migrate our applications to it rather than to XToolkit. We have found XRAY to be fairly good, though have fixed a few bugs in the field editors and dialogs. (I assume you have fixed these bugs in your internal versions.) Would someone please clarify HP's plans as to future XRAY releases in light of the post X.V11 era? Thanks! Mark W. Kernodle Data General Corp. 62 T.W.
