  i have a small favor to ask.  in the last bug report that was
  posted, three files in three directories were modified.  so that i
  can say "patch -p < patchfile" and install all of the patches will
  one operation, i will have to edit the headers. for example:

*** /tmp/,RCSt1003374   Thu Oct 22 09:07:06 1987
--- events.c    Thu Oct 22 09:06:37 1987

  to

*** /tmp/,RCSt1003374   Thu Oct 22 09:07:06 1987
--- server/dix/events.c    Thu Oct 22 09:06:37 1987

  i post patches in this fashion (easier for me to make the change
  than hundreds of others) and ask that others do so also.  thanks.
