There appears to be an xterm window there also - the cursor changes to the insertion bar when it is moved to where the xterm window would be. In fact, the xterm acts like a normal xterm (it can execute commands) but the display never shows anything except for an entire white screen. Using monochrome mode (Xqdss 0 0 m) does not help. Any ideas?
