And such a forgery could probably go unnoticed. Do any people or software actually check for article numbers that are way out of sequence? I doubt it. The sequence number for news articles has been updated on watdcsu so that no innocent person will inadvertently post article 4000@watdcsu and have it fail to propagate. Article ID's 3979@watdcsu through 3999@watdcsu are available for anyone who wishes to forge them. -- David Canzi
