I think the group should be wider: rec.model, about (small-scale?) model
bulding in general. Perhaps, due to my bad English, "model" isn't the
right word.

Then, if radio-controlled models have to be split off, they can become
rec.model.rc, and we have a better newsgroup hierarchy.

Second-level newsgroups should be rather general ones, in order to avoid
a proliferation of groups after the "rec"-part.
