  I'm rather new to the News software so sorry if this is in the wrong
group. I've had News2.11 running for about 2 weeks now and everything
is fine. Beginning last evening after reading through an unusually large
amount of new news I noticed when I finished with the last newsgroup, I
didnt get the prompt "Last article [qfr]" but itstead it went immediately
to the "$" prompt. Checking the .newsrc file showed it had been promperly
updated. Tonight there were only a few updates to a couple groups, yet
still after reading through them, I go right to the prompt. If I start a
new user and use "readnews", I get the prompt at the end. Can anyone shed
some light on this ?  Is it normal...correctable ???  Thanks in advance.

BTW: Im running on an AT-class machine using Microport Sys V/AT 2.2U
