Ok, the moderator got back to me and comp.sources.unix will contain
the source to "bool" "in a couple of weeks".  If there's anyone who
has a real need for it before then please email me (at
madd@bucsb.bu.edu, not acm@bu-cs) and I'll email it to you.  I'll only
email to replies with some sort of "I really need this" in it, so be
sure you include that.
