Noam Chomsky, theoretical linguist, part-time economist,
and all-around nice guy, will be speaking on
   "The Abuse of Power"
   (read: american foreign policy in central america)
as part of the Toronto Star series of lectures, 2:30pm
at Convocation Hall, on Sunday October 25.  It'll cost
$15, at Bass ticket outlets, to get in.

I'm only posting this 'cause you might already know about
him as something of a cognitive scientist, and therefore
a broad thinker :-)
