Chang hi F., i admit that my action may have been a bit overboard, but i would probably do it again. my intention was not to tell any sysadmins about eric's bullshit. they already knew about the eric problem. they had been getting 400 email complaints per day. my intent was to inform eric's peers about his postings, so that one (or many) of them could talk to him in person. usenet postings are in the public domain. i simply forwarded a posting to more public people. anyone writing something that will go in the public domain should be prepared to see his posting end up anywhere in that domain. i sure don't consider myself a 'net cop' -- eric mading busted himself.
