Hello --

I am in the market for a modem, since my Avatex (Junk!!) modem is not
really working properly.

In any event, I got a direct mail offering from Zoom Telephonics of Boston
for a 2400 Baud Internal PC modem --- $169.00  (evidentally a special
markdown from $199.00)

It looks pretty good, but I'd hate to spend $169.00 without a little
more knowledge of the product, company, etc.  Of course, there's a
30 day free trial, but.......

Any replies from people having knowledge of this device or outfit would
be greatly appreciated: either post to the newsgroup (if others might
be interested) or reply directly to MRB @ PSUECL via BITNET.
