It is advertised in the December issue of A+ magazine. It is made by Epic Technology. Has anyone heard of this company before, and if so, do they make a good product? Does anyone know of its compatability/reliability/specifications? It is supposed to emulate a Super Serial Card/Hayes Smartmodem combination. The main comms programs I am using now (on my IIGS) are Kermit and Talk is Cheap. Has anyone tried this modem with either of these programs? The main reason I am interested in this program is the price -- $175 from the maufacturer, $160 mail order from Golem Computers. If anyone has tried this modem or has any information on it, I would appreciate any and all comments/criticisms/praise etc. You can post to this list or email to Rankins@Dockmaster.arpa. Thanks in advance, Ray Rankins@Dockmaster.arpa
