I don't know what this is doing in comp.edu, but ... I would like to add to your list of "bad architecture" -- Erdman Hall, Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr,PA. Designed to be a modern concrete version of a Scottish castle. It succeeds -- it is dark, draughty, and damp. The entrance hall has a terrible echo. People living in the basement complain that they are in "the dungeon".
