This makes perfect sense, since context-flag is set to t when RMAIL is read in. It would seem that the answer is to set context-flag to nil before running rmail; is there such a thing as "rmail-mode-hook"? I've tried mail-mode-hook, but that only applies when sending mail. I've tried rmail-edit-mode-hook, but that only applies when you use the "w" command from within rmail. There is no such thing as rmail-mode-hook documented, but maybe it exists anyway? Perhaps I'll try it.... Other than that, context.el is pretty nice, although I've been using it for only a couple of days. BTW, my emacs is 18.35.
