I'm planning on getting into the field of graphics for the first time, currently I know very little. For my graduate school project, I intend to develop a windsurfing simulator. I plan to develop it on an AT&T 6300 so that it will be DOS compatible. I plan to use a flight simulator type organization, only using a windsurfing control panel instead of the plane type. I have several formulas which I intend to use for modeling. Some of the challenges I expect to run up against are simulation of water, movement of three dimensional objects, other classic problems (opportunities). In a copy of BYTE, I saw a booklist club inluding one entitled "GRAPHICS FOR THE IBM PC", does anyone have experience with this book? If anyone has any ideas, software, or pointers, please send them my way. Joe Heneghan ihnp4!cuuxb!jth
