We are looking at Z-80 family (Z-80, 180, 64180...) and 6800 family (probably 68HC11) primarily. We would like to find a cross-compiler to run under Ultrix 2.0; other options are Macintosh (Plus/SE) and PC-AT. The compiler package should allow assembly language interface (caller and called routines). The linker should produce a standard hex format (tekhex, intel, mot S-record...) and allow reasonable ROM/RAM space allocation. As of this moment it looks like a tossup between a plain Z-80 and a Motorola 68HC11, so those two are first choice. Email should reach me via ...ucbvax!sun!fluke!tikal!phred!garyi thanks, Gary Ingle
