They have version 2.1 of MacMETH, and expect version 3.0 from ETH Zuerich some time soon. The young lady advised me to send $12.50 for the upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1, but I think that the charge may vary slightly depending on where you are (postage or sales tax or ...) I suggest that you call them at 801-224-8999 before sending money. (Besides, you can order by phone with a bank credit card.) She also told me that she is at work entering the names and addresses of customers into a computer, presumably so that they can send upgrade notices. I don't know what to make of J|rgen N|rgaard's message about version 2.3. Perhaps some versions of the software only got as far as the European distributor (who is (was?) also a member of the project team at ETH), and never made it to Modula Corp? If so, that would be unfortunate, both for Modula Corp. and for its customers. I was going to post a long article about the merits and demerits of MacMETH, to supplement Dennis Cohen's comments on other M2 compilers for the Mac, but at this point I might as well wait until I see how many of my intended comments still apply to the latest softeware. (My article was to be based upon version 2.0.) Christopher T.
