A recent note to laser-lovers noted that Canon was no longer making
the CX print engine (the base for the Apple LaserWriter, the HP
LaserJet and many others).  Can someone in the know comment on this
and its implications for future and existing products?  What does
Canon have that is a replacement for the CX?  What is happening with
existing products built on the CX base?
