Okay.  I'm running MH 6.5.  Here's my entire .mh_profile:

Editor: /usr/ucb/vi
showproc: /usr/local/bin/less
repl: -filter reply.filter -nocc me
Alternate-Mailboxes: dave@rosesun*, dave@rosevax*, *rosevax!dave

Works great for me.
