Summary: Setting up domain with machines with same names as external


I am in the process of setting up a domain of machines that speak to each other
using uucp/smail. No sendmail. One machine has a name the same as one on the
Usenet. I don't want to change the name of our machine (it's not our gateway).
I want to be able to use smail as our mailer internally and externally on our
gateway. I don't want to remove the external machine from the map files.

Could someone with a similar environment email me an example file for
processing with pathalias/pathproc for smail? The documentation that came
with pathalias and smail is a little thin on this. Does EVERY machine have
to have a different name?
