With all your help massages the task became trivial. I really appreciate your time and thoughtfulness. At first, I did send individual acknowledgements to your messages; but subsequently, a few of them came back stating "user not found", "path unknown", "node not found", etc., etc. I guess it was a kind of weird, as I would merely send a reply with an "R" option which is expected to retrace the path back (by the way we are running Ultrix 2.0 on 11/785 here), without my specifying the path again. For whatever reasons, the individual ACKs didn't work great. Hence, I am posting this "thank you" note on the net.
