A word of warning - the product is superb, if slow, and excellent value for
the money.  However, it needs an ImageWriter (remember them) to provide all
the mechanical features.  The ThunderScan replaces the ribbon cartridge, and
the ImageWriter performs all paper transport operations, and physical motion
of the scanning head across the paper.  If you don't have an ImageWriter, add
several $100's to the cost.

They have always been an excellent company to deal with.
