If people wanted more daylight hours, just get up earlier, right? And as far as school children safety (surely an important issue) goes, why not just move the starting and/or ending times of classes? Another thing, I've never understood why the farmers are always upset with DST. Anyone care to elaborate? Or maybe work hours should be structured so that you work longer during the winter when it is dark, and get more hours off during the summer when it is light and warm.
