I have both version 1.0 and 2.0 of the ehternet secs. I've been looking for the spec on heartbeats. Don't seem to be able to find 'em in either book. I'm told that the heartbeat might not be called that in the specs which would make it harder to find. Anyone have any idea what standard and what section/page I would look at to find heartbeat info. Is it even in the specs? Is there a 3.0 spec (or higher)? If so, what's the DEC part number so I can order it/them? Thanks much. Cheers.
