The guy who has this problem told me that his gateway gurus had done all they could to try to get this fixed, but that it hadn't been, at least the last time he checked (~60 days ago). He says they tell him the GS/7 fixes these problems, and his site is apparently converting. If your network monitoring doesn't reveal any fragmentation of 552-byte IP length datagrams (512 byte TCP segment + headers), then you must have gotten a fix, or else your configuration is enough different that it doesn't happen.
