We used it for a while and although it worked just fine, it was real slow for the IP traffic. However, I talked to some people more recently and they say that it is much improved. We stopped running it because we put a more sophisticated serial line in place. Your only other alternative is to use one of the routers that does both IP and DECNET (Proteon, CISCO...) or something like a level-2 serial bridge (UB Data Link Bridge, Vegalink TRANSLan). -Ron
