I am conducting a BOF at the upcoming TCP/IP conference in Arlington VA
called "Standard socket level interface for PC's".  Many vendors now have or
will soon have resident TCP/IP code for PC's, however, there is no standard
interface.  Many of these vendors also have socket-style libraries or
resident code with no standard for which calls are supported or how one
interfaces to them.  The purpose of the BOF is to generate interest in
standardizing a BSD socket style interface to TCP/IP for IBMPC MS/DOS
applications.  All are welcome to attend, especially PC TCP/IP vendor
representatives.
