As a result of a meeting held on 20 November to discuss the status of the
new ARPANET End-to-End protocol (PSN 7.0), it was determined that the
protocol requires more testing.

The tentative schedule is to cut over to the new End-to-End on
Saturday, 5 December.  Should no problems arise, the new End-to-End
will remain running throughout the week. 

Hosts experiencing problems during this test period are asked to call 
the ARPANET Monitoring Center at (617) 873-3571/3070 or (800) 492-4992.
