Hello, we are having trouble with the version of Hack we have (ver ?.?.?)
which is ~210000 bytes and dated August 31, 1985.
We need some help.  This program is giving everyone the message:

safelock: No such file or directory
Cannot link safelock.  (Try again or rm safelock).

each time they try to run the program.  Then dies.  There is no safelock 
directory or file in the directories of /usr/games, which is me, 
and the record file, in /usr/games/lib/hack, is less than 100 lines.  
The saved games, in /usr/games/lib/hack/save, are not too numerous (<25).
Any clues as to the cause or origin of this message (which popped 
up fairly recently) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
