The $98 10 meg hard disks and the $269 20 meg + controller I mentioned earlier were in the back of the last two issues of BYTE. Note that these are IBM compatible drives, not SCSI. I'm still looking for a controller for the A1000 that will let me use one of these. I'm tempted to get one and try to kludge it together myself but grad school, work, the kids, and some other programs are taking up about 150% of my time right now.
