Summary: Is this a good deal ?


The following is for the CANADIAN Amiga users (Sorry, but I don't know how
to post to Canada alone).

I was recently offered an upgrade (or downgrade, whichever way you see it)
by a local Amiga dealer (Desktop, Kitchener, Ontario). This is what they 
had to offer.

1)	If I purchase an Amiga 500 and a 512K expansion card, they'll
	pay $500 for my Amiga 1000.

2)	If I purchase an Amiga 1000 and a 2M expansion card, they'll
	pay $700 for my Amiga 1000.

Are either one of these a good deal ? I have been away from the Amiga
scene for quiet a while (Ottawa Workterm :-) ).

Subquestion: Is there a hard disk for the A500 yet ?
