I have been running AmigaUUCP for three months now with no problems. Unfortunately, the release of AmigaUUCP beta test is larger than I thought. So, instead of mailing a copy to everyone, send me a disk and a SASE and I'll mail it to you. Make sure you have enough postage to get the disk back to yourself (at least two 22 cent stamps). If mailing a disk is a problem, send me $5.00 and I'll take care of it. After beta test I'll package it up better and sent it to FF. What comes on the disk you ask? uucico (master and slave modes) uuxqt (Only command it recognizes is "rmail") mail (Can only be used to send mail. This has not been generalized, yet. Some things that should be read from a file are compiled in) rmail (simplistic version) AmigaCron (just posted to the net. It has been converted to run with UUCP and compile under lattice. I currently have it running at night calling two different machines hourly) tarsplit compress uudecode uuencode unshar dme (Matt Dillion's editor -- used by the mail program) Source and binaries are included for everything (with the exception of dme). Everything has been compiled with lattice 4.0, except dme and compress. Compress was compiled with lattice 3.10 (lattice 4.0 barfs on compress due to large arrays, at least the compiler thinks they are two large). Not much documentation, so you should be familiar with UUCP. Really all you need to know is how to modify the L.sys file. Comming soon. postnews, readnews (and all the needed programs for USENET. I have alpha tests up and running). a real mailer (anyone got source?) uux, uucp -- William P Loftus UUCP: wpl@burdvax.UUCP Unisys/Paoli Research Center ARPA: wpl@anarchy.prc.unisys.com PO Box 517 BITNET: 202527899@VUVAXCOM Paoli, PA 19301 215-648-7222 (work) 215-354-0614, 215-354-0615 (home) -- William P Loftus UUCP: wpl@burdvax.UUCP Unisys/Paoli Research Center ARPA: wpl@burdvax.prc.unisys.com PO Box 517 BITNET: 202527899@VUVAXCOM Paoli, PA 19301 215-648-7222 (work) 215-649-0633 (home)
