There are a couple of people here that are interested in doing A2000
upgrades through a mail-order outfit in Hendersonville, NC called
Mountain Software.  They seem to have the best of the upgrade programs
we've seen (you end up paying $999.99 plus shipping for the 2000, and
you keep your 1000).

Mountain does business the same way Abel does (via price lists posted
on BBS's, etc).  The question is ... has anyone out there in netland
done any business with them, and did you have any problems (i.e., are
they reputable)?  I have seen their price lists on BBS's for a couple
of months, so I know they aren't a brand new outfit, but if anyone has
had any personal experience with them, I'd like to hear about it (VIA
EMAIL PLEASE!)


There is also a company in L.A. (really, Santa Monica) called Creative
Computers doing this kind of business, who also have an ad in the latest
AmigaWorld.  Any input on them would also be appreciated.


No, I don't have any connection with either company, or I wouldn't be
