When I put different values in them, the pen still draws in normal size. Is there any convention, setup, or non-obvious trick needed to make them functional? Or are they privileged (if so, what uses them?) ? Also, is there any magic needed to make the various software-failure traps call some abort routine of my own, or is _all_ the relevant info laid out well in the RKM, etc. I wouldn't want to have to do in-line assembly or much in the way of BCPL, or figure out compiler-specific solutions by trial and error.
